Hollowford is highly experienced at dealing with youth service groups having worked with young people from Stockport, Rochdale, Manchester, Sheffield, Nottingham, Tameside & Wakefield amongst others. The full range of outdoor activities are on offer to compliment your agenda. We can be very flexible with timings and commonly find ourselves caving with groups at 10pm. Other popular choices include; abseiling off the 70ft high Millersdale viaduct, an open canoeing expedition and our high ropes course.
Although the centre is outside the village, shops etc are only a short walk away. We have in the past run events out of more remote locations where there are fewer distractions.
We hold an AALA (Adventurous Activities Licensing Authority) license. Our staff are generally qualified to a higher standard than the minimum requirements and are, more importantly, highly experienced. By working with small groups (max 10) each child has the opportunity to participate fully. |
