We have been working with a number of organisations providing training that develops their people and at the same time, provides a benefit to the less fortunate. Lindley have developed programmes that involve running some form of community project which provides a great challenge for course members with real consequences and benefits local communities.
One of our flagship programmes involves recently employed graduates from DHL and primary school children from inner city Sheffield. This programme provides opportunities for the graduates to develop some recently learnt management skills by running a three-day outdoor residential programme for the children, supported by staff from the Trust. The children loved the programmes and their teachers were amazed how much the children developed in a few days.
Such projects not only provide an excellent training medium and benefit the community they also help employers fulfil Corporate Social Responsibility objectives. |

| This Trust is supporting our Stretch project, which will see us work with 5 locals schools. This unique project supports a small number of pupils and their parents from each school, providing a long term programme that includes adventurous activities, environmental projects and educational visits. |
