The course is an experiential programme that is highly practical in nature. There will be a focus on developing skills that can be transferred immediately to the workplace. There are no power points!

By the end of the two day programme we hope participants will:

  • Understand the power of, and principles behind, experiential learning
  • Be able to deliver and facilitate experiential learning activities that will motivate, engage, challenge and develop participants
  • Be confident facilitating powerful learning reviews that enable their participants to develop strategies for improving their workplace performance
  • Be able to use MTa materials to develop their participants’ practical skills in areas such as communication, problem solving and leadership.
  • Understand their own personal strengths and areas for improvement as a facilitator of experiential learning

Alex will help participants discover the answers to the following questions:

  • What is the Learning Arena, and how can we use this structure to support effective learning reviews?
  • Why and how should be we give control to participants? What are the benefits and possible pitfalls?
  • How can you facilitate learning reviews that enable participants to learn and develop relevant workplace skills?
  • What are the skills, attitudes, approaches and behaviours demanded of a 21st century facilitator?

Cost: £200
